My Approach

It's easy to forget who we really are. Deep within, there's a core sacred part of us who is capable of being calm, curious, courageous, compassionate, connected and creative. That core, also known as the Self, can be obscured by negative emotional reactions often rooted in our family of origin experiences. Each of these reactions or parts aren't good or bad. They have a voice and a purpose. Once we build a trusting and open relationship with the Self, we can let go of our burdens.

I work collaboratively with you to create a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore your experiences and emotions. Together we will build on your strengths and resilience. My goal is help empower my clients with the tools and skills needed to manage anxiety and grief in a health way.

 

My treatment approaches include Insight-Oriented Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic and Internal Family Systems Therapy.
